Soothing alcohol-free herbal toner
Inspired by a 14th Century herbal formula, the Queen of Hungary's Water, our artisan skin toner combines 8 of the earth's most beneficial herbs for skin in a soothing, alcohol-free base.
We start by infusing a blend of organically grown botanicals including lemon balm, chamomile and calendula in apple cider vinegar. Next we add 100% alcohol-free witch hazel and pure essential oils ... and voilà: an unbeatable toner that will help clear blemishes + fade age spots + diminish wrinkles.
The thing with other toners is that they contain alcohol and harmful chemicals that dry out your skin, which in turn disrupts its natural ability to regulate oil production. This starts a vicious cycle of over and under production of your skin's own beneficial oils. Earth Tone corrects these issues by using natural ingredients instead:
Apple Cider Vinegar - Helps restore skin's proper pH, improves hyper-pigmentation and boosts blood flow, resulting in softer skin and a radiant glow. Malic acid (used in many anti-aging skin care products) loosens the dead, outer layer of skin cells to help unclog pores and reduce fine lines. A natural antiseptic, ACV fights acne and other skin problems.
Alcohol-Free Witch Hazel - Astringent, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory; shrinks pores and alleviates puffiness and discoloration. Enhances blood supply to damaged areas and fights dryness by sealing in moisture.
Uses: Keep a bottle in your purse or pack! Earth Tone is a great antiseptic, antibacterial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory skin care product. It even relieves the itching of mosquito bites. Don't worry, the vinegar smell quickly fades within minutes of application.
How to use: After washing your face with Montana Mud Scrub or Oil Change, spritz Earth Tone all over face or apply with a cotton ball. Allow Earth Tone to dry naturally. Earth Toner
I love all the Goodstuff products -BUT- I really do not like the toner. It smells really bad, I feel like I am spraying my face with apple cider vinegar. That is the first ingredient listed and the essential oils do not mask the smell. I will not buy that again!
One of the best products I've ever used.
I try A LOT of skin care, working in a health food store. I received this product as a sample. It smells like ACV, but the smell dissipates quickly. I am a huge moisturizer addict, and rarely buy toners. I'm SO grateful to have had the chance to try this, and it is now a must-have in my regime. I'd ran out, and a few shorts days without it, my pores became congested, and I knew exactly what the issue was. My skin truly thrives with Earth Tone! I now recommend it to all!

I like that this helps close my pores but doesn't over dry my skin. Don't use too much or you'll smell like apple cider vinegar at the gym haha. If you don't use too much then it isn't noticable at all, but the first two times I used way too much and I smelled like it at the gym. Once I figured out the right amount to use, I haven't smelled it at all while working out. I have noticed my pores seem smaller and not so clogged
Unpleasant Smell
Bought the toner to use with the Gypsy Cream. Used it once and could not get past the smell. However, I am really liking the Gypsy Cream.

eczema is gone!
After reading the reviews, I was quite nervous to purchase this item because of the smell everyone was talking about. I have been learning about witch hazel in my herbal medicine class, and stumbled upon this for my eczema. I finally gave up all steroid creams and antibiotics, and the whole left side of my face and both biceps and triceps were covered in red rashy eczema. The first time I used this I was at first offput by the smell; however I love vinegar so the strong initial smell left quickly. There is a sweet smell that comes after that initial bite. I love it! Now, this stung after my first few applications and I was worried it was making my eczema worse. My face was bright red, my arms bright red and it looks like my skin was even more inflamed. I put lotion on top like described, and it kind of just lightly stung for about 10 minutes. Ice cubes on the skin help with this. After 3 days of using twice a day there was no more stinging, my eczema on my face is almost completely gone and the patches on my arms are shrinking. For anyone who can get over a little discomfort in the beginning and a little smell I highly recommend this to anyone. I bought another bottle for my fiance and his psoriasis and he said it is definitely helping with the skin build up and keeping it at bay. Please give this product a try especially if you have skin issues like my fiance and I. And remember ...you're looking for safer ways of healing. This may take a bit more time for relief, but it is safer and healthier on the body!
SO SMELLY
I don't normally write reviews, but I was really excited about an all natural toner, however, it was SO NASTY SMELLING I could only use it twice before deciding I could not continue using this product. It's sad because I like all their other products. If only they could do something about the awful smell /:

I received this product and was excited to try it out. I let my daughter try it first and she hated the smell. I tried it the next morning, using it very lightly. My goodness what a smell! I had to hold my breath the fan my face until it dried and the smell let up. Gave this product away. I won't be using it.
